Growth and Presentation Scan
From 22-38 weeks gestation - £69
During our growth and presentation scan, our professional sonographers will measure the baby’s head, abdominal size and length of the femur to check they’re in the right percentile for their gestation. We will also check your baby’s estimated fetal weight. These scans are a wonderful way to feel more in touch with your baby helping you feel prepared and excited for parenthood, especially once you have had your 20 weeks scan!

Multiple pregnancies
There is a surcharge of £25 for multiple pregnancies.
Please call us directly if you suspect or know you are expecting more than one baby,
as we will need to block out more time than a standard appointment.

This growth and presentation scan is designed to provide expectant parents with the opportunity to check all the vital measurements later on in your pregnancy. You must still attend your 20 week scan with the NHS, so this scan is popular with expectant families further along the journey.
Preparing for your scan
You can prepare for your growth and presentation scan by ensuring that you are properly hydrated; we recommend that you drink plenty of water in the hour before your scan.
Please bring your pregnancy notes with you. We may not need them, but it is helpful if our qualified Sonographers need to refer to them at any stage during your scan.
